We understand that your home is not only one of the largest investments that you will make, but it is also one of your most personal investments as well. As your builder, we take our role seriously. From design through construction and beyond, Executive Homes will guide and oversee each step to ensure a seamless process. Most importantly, we are committed to building you a quality custom home that you will be proud to call your own.

Design Consultation

During this informal meeting stage, we’ll simply get to know each other and give you an opportunity to let your ideas begin to take shape. By getting to know our clients and understanding their goals and vision for their new home, we’re able to begin the relationship that becomes the strong foundation for our homebuilding philosophy and process. We’ll also provide client, vendor and financial references for your review as well as reviewing financing options.

Design Guide and Site Selection

Taking what we’ve learned from our design consultation, we’ll outline in writing the critical details of your proposed home — its finished living area, basement criteria, garage size, master suite location, architectural style and more — and how they apply to the specific site on which you’ve selected to build. We’ll also provide a written set of preliminary specifications that detail the proposed features and finishes of your home. At this time, we will also review a preliminary pricing estimate to ensure that we are meeting your financial objectives as well.

Conceptual Design and Budget

These plans are the backbone of a custom home build and help bring the project to life. You’ll work directly with our interior design team to develop a conceptual plan that ensures your home is a true and accurate reflection of your lifestyle. Upon completion of the conceptual plans, Executive Homes will provide an initial cost estimate for the home.

Construction Drawings

Once the conceptual design and pricing are developed, the process of completing construction drawings begin. These final plans begin to bring your custom home to life with a defined architectural style and design as well as room sizes and other job specific details. With more than two decades of experience, we have the knowledge and ability to turn your initial ideas into finished, construction-ready blueprints. Upon completion of the construction drawings and final pricing, we are ready to sign a purchase agreement.

Pre-Construction Meeting

We will collaborate with you to complete a final review of the house placement, plot plan, building specifications and more. During this meeting, we’ll also introduce you with your project’s construction manager and provide a detailed plan for going from concept to completion.

Construction

Plans finally leave the page and your home begins to become a reality. We bring our collaborative approach from the design phase with us into construction, ensuring your home is just as you envisioned with your input welcomed and encouraged. Throughout construction, you’ll be kept in direct communication with your construction manager.
